High-precision translation service DeepL announces real-time voice translation feature 'DeepL Voice'

DeepL, a translation service provider, has announced the real-time speech translation feature ' DeepL Voice .' DeepL Voice has been released as ' DeepL Voice for Meetings ' for online meetings and ' DeepL Voice for Conversations ' for face-to-face conversations.

◆DeepL Voice for Meetings
DeepL Voice for Meetings is a product for online meetings that adds real-time voice translation capabilities to Teams.

The languages that can be translated are 'Japanese', 'English', 'Korean', 'Dutch', 'French', 'German', 'Italian', 'Polish', 'Portuguese', 'Russian', 'Spanish', 'Swedish' and 'Turkish'. Meeting participants can choose 'their own language' and 'the translated language'. In addition, the number of supported languages will be increased in the future.

At the time of writing, DeepL Voice for Meetings is only available as a corporate license, and a minimum of 50 licenses are required.

DeepL Voice for Conversations is a real-time voice translation feature for face-to-face conversations available for iPhone and Android smartphones. Supported languages are 'Japanese', 'English', 'Korean', 'Dutch', 'French', 'German', 'Italian', 'Polish', 'Portuguese', 'Russian', 'Spanish', 'Swedish' and 'Turkish', with more languages planned for the future.

There is also a feature that allows you to split the screen vertically into two and translate a conversation between two people on a single smartphone.

At the time of writing, DeepL Voice for Conversations only offers corporate licenses, and a minimum of 250 licenses are required.
