According to Gurman, Apple Vision Pro, which was released in February 2024, is a niche product for a small number of customers due to its price of about 600,000 yen. Therefore, Apple is developing a relatively inexpensive product using Apple Vision Pro technology in order to recoup the huge development costs of Apple Vision Pro.

The cheaper Apple Vision Pro, expected to be released in 2025, is said to be more affordable than the original Apple Vision Pro, costing around $2,000. To achieve this price, Apple is using cheaper materials and a lower-end processor than the original Apple Vision Pro, and is omitting the ' EyeSight ' feature that simulates the user's eyes on the outside of the headset.

Additionally, a second-generation Apple Vision Pro with a faster chip will reportedly be released in 2026.

It has also been reported that Apple is working on developing smart glasses to rival Ray-Ban Meta in 2027. According to Gurman, Apple's smart glasses are equipped with cameras, speakers, microphones, etc., and also use 'visual intelligence technology' used in Apple Vision Pro, which can scan the user's surrounding environment and provide useful data. In addition, Gurman reports that 'Apple continues to work on developing AirPods with a camera sensor.' The existence of AirPods with a camera was first reported in July 2024.

Gurman also shared information about Apple's smart home strategy, reporting that a $1,000 'tabletop, limbed, home robot' is in the works, which will have an iPad-like smart display and be able to play streaming content, make FaceTime calls, surf the web, and access apps like the calendar and notes.

In addition, Apple will release a MacBook Pro equipped with Apple's proprietary chip, the M3 series , on October 31, 2023, but a MacBook Pro equipped with the successor M4 chip was stolen from a warehouse and a Russian YouTuber posted a video showing it. In response, Gurman said, 'The specifications, and the internal model number of the device, all match what I have been reporting for weeks.'
