Amazon launches new 'Fire HD 8' series with increased memory capacity and improved camera image quality
Amazon has announced a new model of its 8-inch tablet, the Fire HD 8 , with improved memory and cameras. The new Fire HD 8 announced this time is the 13th generation, and is equipped with the same 6-core processor and battery life of up to 13 hours as the 12th generation, but the memory has been increased from 2GB to 3GB or 4GB. The Fire HD 8 Kids model, aimed at children aged 3 and over, has also been updated. The new Fire HD 8 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model comes with a special protective cover, a two-year limited warranty, parental control features, and one year of free use of Amazon Kids+1. The covers come in three colors: grape, blue, and Disney Princess. The grape and blue versions are priced at 19,980 yen (tax included), while the Disney Princess version is priced at 20,980 yen (tax included).
The Fire HD 8 Kids Pro, aimed at kids ages 6 and up, comes with the same protective cover as the Fire HD 8 Kids model and has access to a web browser designed for kids. The covers are available in three colors: Green, Planet, and Marvel Avengers. The Green and Planet models are priced at 19,980 yen (tax included), while the Marvel Avengers model is priced at 20,980 yen (tax included).
New AI features include wallpaper creation, web page summarization, and a writing assistance tool.
