📬 Streamers and subscribers in eligible countries will be notified via email.
Twitch has a feature called 'Subscription' that allows users to pay a monthly fee to each channel to prevent advertising videos from playing, watch exclusive videos, and use custom stamps. Subscriptions are available in three tiers: 'Tier 1,' 'Tier 2,' and 'Tier 3,' and the higher the tier, the more benefits you get. The price increases announced this time are for the lowest tier, 'Tier 1,' and the price of 'Subscription Gifts,' which allows viewers to gift subscriptions to your channel.
Japan is among the 40 countries affected by the price increase, and according to Twitch streamer Tetsukabo , the price increase for a Tier 1 subscription will be 900 yen.

We have received notice that the mobile version of Twitch subscription will be increased to 900 yen.
For smartphone users, you can switch to the almost ad-free [Twitch Turbo]. However, it seems that you will no longer be able to use subscription stamps for each channel.
Also, the prices are different for the PC and mobile versions.
So would it be better to log in on your PC and buy 6 months' worth at once? 🧐 pic.twitter.com/vZRmwQHUyH
Twitch explains that this price increase follows previous price increases for desktop users.
Hey! This is the same price increase that occurred on desktop previously, just extending to mobile, as opposed to a new price increase.
