These are three types of sweets taken out of their temporary packaging as samples. From the left, they are 'Shine Muscat Waffle', 'Shine Muscat Tart' and 'Whole Shine Muscat Daifuku'.

First, I'll try the 'Shine Muscat Waffle'. It's 190 kcal per piece. The waffle is sandwiched between rare cheese whipped cream and custard cream, topped with cut Shine Muscat grapes, and decorated with grape jelly on the edge.

The cross section looks like this. The waffle is quite soft and fluffy. The equally soft and sweet cream is added to it, and at the end, the juicy Shine Muscat enters your mouth. The refreshing sweetness of the Shine Muscat surpasses the sweetness of the waffle and cream, making this a very satisfying dish.

Next up is the Shine Muscat Tart, which has 319 kcal per piece.

The cross section looks like this, with grape jelly wrapped in whipped cream. The moist and soft tart is topped with plenty of whipped cream, custard cream, grape jelly, and sliced Shine Muscat grapes, making for a very filling treat. The large tart firmly supports the refreshing flavor of Shine Muscat grapes that emerges from the sweetness of the fluffy whipped cream.

Lastly, the Whole Shine Muscat Daifuku. Each one is 136kcal.

Inside the daifuku is white bean paste and a whole Shine Muscat grape. The ratio of Shine Muscat to the size of the dessert is the highest in the daifuku, so I expected that out of the three desserts, it would be the one that had the strongest Shine Muscat flavor, and when I ate it, the chewy sweetness of the daifuku really came through, combining with the Shine Muscat and white bean paste and spreading throughout my mouth. It was satisfying as a daifuku, but the daifuku was so strong that the Shine Muscat seemed to take a back seat a little. However, if you think of the daifuku as the main part of the dessert, the Shine Muscat played a strong supporting role, providing a refreshing taste.

The 'Shine Muscat Waffle' is priced at 329 yen including tax, the 'Shine Muscat Tart' is priced at 351 yen including tax, and the 'Whole Shine Muscat Daifuku' is priced at 246 yen including tax, and will be on sale from Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Only the Daifuku will be on sale from around the evening. Also, it is said that it is not available at Lawson stores in the Okinawa region.
