In Japan, pre-orders for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will begin on July 17, 2024, and are scheduled to be released on July 31. However, some users have pointed out that the ear tips of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are very delicate and may tear if you try to pull them out of the earphones.
According to overseas media The Verge, a hard plastic ring is used at the base of the silicone ear tips, and this ring fits the earphone body to prevent them from falling off. However, some users point out that 'when removing the ear tips, the silicone tears and the hard plastic ring remains attached to the earphones.' In addition, Samsung says that 'if you handle it roughly, the ear tips may tear,' and recommends that you turn the ear tips over, pinch the protruding part and gently pull them out of the earphones when removing them.
Nevertheless, Samsung has suspended deliveries to retailers for quality checks on the Galaxy Buds3 Pro. 'We are urgently strengthening our quality control process. To ensure all products meet our quality standards, we have suspended deliveries of the Galaxy buds3 Pro and are conducting a full quality control evaluation before they are shipped to consumers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,' Samsung told overseas media Android Authority. In fact, the US version of Samsung's website lists the delivery date for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro as August 28th.
Samsung also said, 'If you have any problems with the product you purchased, you can visit your local service center and receive appropriate measures such as exchange or refund. We will thoroughly inspect all processes before the official launch in Korea on July 24 and do our best to prevent similar accidents from happening again.'
