Fukusaya, a long-established castella shop that has been in business since 1624, has released Yasohachi Castella , the first castella cake in their 400-year history to be made using rice flour. The cake expresses the fluffy texture of rice and is said to be the pinnacle of skill in the process, so we tried a sample provided by Fukusaya.

'Yasohachi Castella' came in a cube-shaped package.
The ingredients are eggs, sugar, rice flour, starch syrup, wheat flour, etc. The calorie content is 305 kcal per 100 g. Each package contains 55 g, so the calorie content per package is 167.75 kcal.
