YouTube announces six new Shorts features, including TikTok-like text-to-speech narration, auto-generated captions in the app, Minecraft effects, and more

YouTube has announced that it will add six new creator tools to its Shorts section, which allows users to watch vertical videos up to 60 seconds long, including narration similar to TikTok's automated text-to-speech feature.

◆1: Auto-layout feature to convert long videos into short videos
