The newly released API allows you to perform basic functions such as publishing posts, getting content, using reply management functions, replying to posts, getting replies to posts, and hiding/showing specific replies, as well as obtaining statistical information such as the number of views, likes, replies, reposts, citations, and followers at the media and account level.
To use the Threads API, you first need to log in to Facebook and create an app from the developer dashboard . If you want to make your app available to the general public, you need to have it reviewed before it can be made public. Instructions on how to use the API are provided in the documentation , and you can also refer to the open source sample app available on GitHub.
The development team for Buffer , a tool that allows you to post to multiple social media platforms simultaneously, posted that they are 'working hard to make Buffer compatible with Threads as soon as possible.'
