A premiere screening of the anime 'Nigejou no Wakakuni' will be held at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in Kamakura before the broadcast begins.
The second promotional video using footage from the anime ' Nigejozu no Wakakuni ' has been released, which will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other stations on Saturday, July 6, 2024. In addition, prior to the start of the broadcast, a premiere screening will be held at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in Kamakura, which has a connection to the work, with the cast also participating.

'Nigejou no Wakakunin' is a notable work that has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and has sold over 2 million copies, winning the 69th Shogakukan Manga Award. The author, Yusei Matsui, is a hit maker who has previously worked on 'Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro' and 'Assassination Classroom,' both of which have been adapted into films.

The protagonist is Hojo Tokiyuki (voiced by Asaki Yukawa), the rightful successor to the Kamakura Shogunate.

The broadcast will begin at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024 on TOKYO MX and more than 30 other terrestrial, BS, and CS stations, and is also scheduled to be distributed through various video streaming services.
Prior to the first broadcast, a premiere screening will be held at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in Kamakura, a place associated with the series, on Sunday, June 23, 2024. The screening will be attended by Asaki Yukawa, who plays Tokiyuki Hojo, Hinaki Yano, who plays Shizuku, and Yuichi Nakamura, who plays Yorishige Suwa.
The original work has already published 15 volumes, and the latest volume, volume 16, will be released on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
