The synopsis of the work is as follows.
In the year 1333, the Kamakura Shogunate, which had laid the foundation for the samurai rule of Japan, was destroyed by a rebellion by Takauji Ashikaga, a trusted shogunate vassal. Having lost everything and fallen into the depths of despair, Tokiyuki Hojo, the legitimate successor to the shogunate, escapes from burning Kamakura with the guidance of Yorishige Suwa, a priest who claims to be a god... Tokiyuki runs away and ends up in Suwa, where he meets friends he can trust and gathers the strength to take back Kamakura. He overcomes the great turbulence of changing times by ``running away'' and ``living'', contrary to the samurai lifestyle of ``fighting'' and ``dying''.
What will happen to Tokiyuki's game of tag to restore the world, which unfolds in a turbulent world filled with heroes?

The main characters appearing in the work are as follows.
・Tokiyuki Hojo (voice: Asaki Yukawa)
The son of Takatoki Hojo, the regent who ruled the Kamakura Shogunate. He has no interest in status or power, has a kind personality and doesn't like fighting, and wishes for peace in Kamakura more than anyone else. Although he is not good at martial arts, his ability to run and hide is outstanding, and even adults cannot easily catch him. After losing everything due to the betrayal of Takauji Ashikaga, whom he trusted as a loyal samurai, he throws himself into the fight to regain his beloved hometown, Kamakura.
・Yorishige Suwa (voice: Yuichi Nakamura)
The head of Suwa Taisha Shrine in Shinano Province. He is known as the ``Living God,'' which is both human and divine, and has gained tremendous faith from the people. He can manipulate divine power and even see the future...but he can only see a vague future, which is somewhat suspicious. He rescued Tokiyuki from the dying Kamakura and hid him in Suwa. He sees through Tokiyuki's ability to run away and gives him a severe test in order to take back Kamakura, but he is nervous about whether something will turn out to be a big deal...
・Shizuku (voice: Hinayoshi Yano)
She is a shrine maiden of Suwa Taisha Shrine and an excellent butler of Tokiyuki's affiliated party, the Towaka-to, who aim to recapture Kamakura. He is in charge of the entire household and is generally well-behaved, calling Yorishige ``father'', but he sometimes behaves in ways that surprise those around him. Although not as powerful as Yorishige, he can use secret techniques to manipulate divine power. He also has excellent insight, so he is in charge of logistical support during battles and also serves as Yorishige's representative.
・Akujiro (voice: Mari Hino)
A swordsman of the ``Ryuwatou'' whose swordsmanship is on par with that of adults. He has a lively and fearless personality. In battle, while observing and analyzing the surrounding situation, he never forgets to be considerate and encourage his teammates. Although he has a master-servant relationship with Tokiyuki, he treats them like good friends. He is a relatively common-sense person among the highly individualistic members of the ``Hyowatou'' group, so he often plays the role of Tsukkomi.
・Ayako (voice: Sayumi Suzushiro)
An innocent and strong girl from the 'Runaway Party.' He usually takes care of Tokiyuki and acts as a martial arts practitioner, but there are times when he is a little too indulgent. I admire a strong woman who can protect and support her master. He and Akujiro work hard together on a daily basis, and the two of them work perfectly together on the battlefield. It seems that she has learned various arts such as music and dance.
・Genba Kazama (voice: Aoi Yuuki)
A ninja from the 'Runaway Party' who specializes in information gathering. The fox mask is changeable and can disguise itself as any person. Before joining the Hyowa-tou, he was a famous thief and gained notoriety even in Suwa. Based on past experience, he trusts money above all else, and sometimes offers exorbitant commission fees. He does not hesitate to take mean revenge against those who do not pay him.
・Fubuki (voice: Kikunosuke Toya)
A Cold War-minded tactician for the Fugitive Party who is well-versed in various military strategies. Instantly assess the opponent and situation and devise accurate tactics. His fighting ability is high enough to take on multiple enemies, and he is also good at teaching others. At first glance, he appears to be invincible, but he is also an unusually gluttonous eater, and if there is food available, he will eat it all by himself.
・Mr. Takashi Ashikaga
He is the leader of the Ashikaga family, a prestigious samurai family, and is a great hero who possesses all of the qualities of bravery, education, family status, and popularity. He captivates people with his overwhelming military power and strong charisma. He played an active role as the guardian deity of the Kamakura Shogunate, and Tokiyuki trusted and admired him, but... No one knows the true meaning behind his calm and humble demeanor.
