Below is a video of the robot dog.

The weapon is said to be an Onyx Industries gun system integrated into Ghost Robotics' Q-UGV robot.

Ghost Robotics has long been a supplier of robots to the US military, but in 2021 a model equipped with weapons from a company other than Onyx Industries was released.

The Onyx Industries gun system integrated into the Ghost Robotics robot is equipped with AI, and can automatically track people, drones, vehicles, etc., and can also provide target information to a human operator, but the firing switch is left to the human.

Onyx Industries said at least two robots are being tested at MARSOC, one with a 7.62x39mm gun and the other with a 6.5mm Creedmoor gun. Eric Schell, the company's director of business development, said the robots are being used for tunnel construction and border security, but declined to provide further details.

Amid ethical concerns about the use of autonomous weapons, MARSOC said in a statement that 'weaponized robotic dogs are just one of many use cases we are currently evaluating and we are aware of and comply with all Department of Defense policies regarding autonomous weapons.'
