The US military is conducting a demonstration experiment of an anti-drone operation called 'Operation Hard Kill,' and as part of that, they are developing a quadruped robot equipped with an M16 automatic rifle. The base is the quadruped robot ' Vision 60 ' developed by Ghost Robotics, and the M16 automatic rifle is equipped with a huge targeting system with infrared thermal vision function, as well as a laser targeting device.
The robot can be operated using a tablet or controller.
According to foreign media The Warzone, the quadrupedal robot may be equipped with the ' SMASH ' system, which is equipped with target recognition and aiming assistance functions.
The SMASH system, used by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, automatically identifies targets and shows you exactly where to aim.
