The story of Unicorn Overlord begins with the queen of the Kingdom of Cornia rebelling.
The queen's unicorn ring is entrusted to the knight.
And this is the main character, Alleyne.
While the queen herself goes out as a decoy, the prince, Alain, escapes... It's a prequel.
Ten years have passed since then, and the main story begins when Alleyne, who has become the prince of a fallen country, is training for battle when the enemy army finally appears.
So, the first tutorial battle begins to intercept the enemy army. Each stage of this game has a 'home base' that your army must protect, and your units also sortie from there.

Select an enemy unit to move to and instruct it to battle.
A battle begins when units collide.
Combat is an auto battle format. Battles proceed according to rules such as ``act in order of action speed'' and ``active skills that activate when it is your turn to act.'' Also, when an active skill is activated, AP is consumed. Here, Alain, who acted first, consumed the active skill (red dot) that she had at the beginning to activate a skill called 'Lean Edge'.
There are also 'passive skills' that are activated under certain conditions such as being attacked.
One battle ends when all enemies and allies consume AP. The one who causes more damage will be declared the winner. Conversely, if you lose, you will enter a 'wait state' where you cannot take any action for a certain period of time.
You can make a pre-emptive attack on enemies in a wait state, giving you a big advantage even if you can't kill them in one battle.
I defeated it.
Now that the enemy is gone, move your unit to the base that was held by the enemy. Then, the base was captured (garrisoned) and the stamina required for battle was restored from 4 to 6.

My army's 'Alaine Squad' has come into contact with the enemy's boss unit.
What I would like to focus on here is the prediction of the battle outcome. In this case, it means that you deal 18 damage to your opponent while receiving 0 damage.
If there are friendly units nearby, you can change the units that will fight using the 'R' and 'L' buttons. However, when I changed it, it was predicted that the damage would be 12 and that I would receive 1 damage.
So, I changed to Alain and started the battle. A conversation event between the main character and the boss has occurred.
Alleyne is acquainted with her enemy Hodrick, but Hodrick doesn't seem to know her.
I had no choice but to continue the battle and was defeated.

When Hodrick tries to find out what's going on, the unicorn ring that he inherited from the Queen lights up.
Hodrick regains his memory.
Hodrick, a loyal servant of the Queen, had his mind manipulated and became a pawn of the Empire, but was able to purify himself with the power of the ring.
The story of this game is that Alleyne learns the significance of being entrusted with a ring that has the power of purification, and decides to rise up as part of the Liberation Army.
