The help page for the α9 III states that ``If you set ``Auto power off temperature'' to ``High'', you can continuously shoot 4K movies for up to 60 minutes indoors at a room temperature of 25 degrees.'' I actually tried to see how many minutes of continuous shooting I could do with the same recording method and room temperature.

First, set 'Auto power off temperature' to 'High'.

The α9 III and subject were set up in a room with a room temperature of 25 degrees. In this state, I set the recording format to 'XAVC S 4K' and continued recording videos until the power was turned off.

After 91 minutes had passed since the start of shooting, the remaining battery power had dropped to 8%, so I connected it to a power source with a USB cable.

A high temperature warning mark was displayed on the screen 105 minutes after the start.

Then, 123 minutes after the shooting started, recording was forced to stop and the power was turned off. This time, the camera and subject were stationary, so if the camera or subject moves around, the continuous shooting time may differ.

I used infrared thermography to measure the temperature of each part when recording was forcibly terminated. The left side of the EVF is 50.1 degrees.
