I ate ``Peperoncino to enjoy noodles'' using pasta with a smooth and chewy texture at Matsuya's first pasta shop ``Mugi no Toriko''

Matsuya, a beef restaurant chain, has opened a new fresh pasta specialty store, ``Mugi no Toriko, '' on January 31, 2024, in addition to

the Shoken Chinese Restaurant and Steak Restaurant Matsu , so let's go eat it. I did.

The first Mugi no Toriko store is located in Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki City. It is about a 1-minute walk from the east exit of Motosumiyoshi Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line.

There is a shop on the 1st floor of ' Business Hotel Sugata '.

Roughly speaking, there are 5 types of menu: ``meat sauce'', ``carbonara'', ``tomato'', ``cod roe'', and ``peperoncino'', each of which costs 880 yen (968 yen including tax), 1080 yen (1188 yen including tax), and 1280 yen (1408 yen including tax). There are three patterns (circle).

You can watch the fresh pasta being made in the space to the left of the entrance to the store. The barley they use is durum wheat and Hokkaido wheat, the eggs are from Asagiri Kogen Poultry Farm, and the water used to make the noodles is soft water from the foot of Mt. Fuji.

The inside of the store consists of table seats and counter seats, and the counter seats look like this. Orders are placed using a tablet rather than a ticket vending machine.

There is a drawer in front of the counter that stores cutlery, towels, and paper napkins.

Also, there was an outlet and a USB port just between the two seats. Although it's not the type of restaurant you'll want to stay in for too long, you can charge your smartphone while you're eating.

I was told that they were particular about fresh pasta, so I ordered the ``Peperoncino to Enjoy Noodles'' (968 yen including tax). I visited in the afternoon, but it was quite busy, and it took about 20 minutes from the time I was seated until the finished product arrived.

Speaking of Matsuya, it is characteristic that they push the garlic flavor to the front in menus that contain garlic, but since this pasta is called 'enjoy noodles', the noticeable seasoning is suppressed as much as possible, and the wheat flavor is You can taste it. The texture of the noodles is not only smooth, but also very chewy and chewy, making it very pleasant to eat.

In addition, although the garlic flavor itself seemed to be suppressed, there is a considerable amount of garlic in it, so if you have something to do after a meal, you may want to be a little careful.

'Mugi no Toriko Motosumiyoshi branch' is open from 11:00 to 23:00, with last order at 22:15. There doesn't seem to be a set holiday.
