Tom Warren, editor-in-chief of IT news site The Verge, said that immediately after restarting his device after applying the Windows 11 update ' KB5034204 ' distributed on January 23, 2024, Edge appeared before the update. I noticed that the Chrome tab I was working on was automatically opening.
Mr. Warren had never imported data into Edge, but from now on when he browses websites in Chrome, the tabs are now duplicated in Edge.
When Warren opened Edge's settings screen to find the cause, he found that Edge had a new feature that periodically imported Chrome data.
