A free handwritten font called ``Suitable Poem'' that is ``made with great care and attention to detail'' and can be used for commercial purposes free of charge.



The font ' Rentei Poem ', which looks like it was handwritten with a felt-tip pen, contains over 9,000 characters in total, including hiragana, katakana, kanji, and alphanumeric characters, and is free for commercial use.

Random Poems is distributed by Hagi42, who makes games as a hobby. To download the font, visit Hagi42's BOOTH and click 'Free Download'. Although it can be downloaded and used for free, you will need to log in with your pixiv account to download files from BOOTH.



After unzipping the downloaded folder, open 'TekitouPoem.ttf' in the unzipped folder and install the font. This time I am using Windows 10, and to install the font on Windows 10, right-click 'TekitouPoem.ttf', select 'Open with', and click 'Windows Font Viewer'.



The font file will open, so click 'Install' to complete.



When I checked with Adobe Photoshop, I was able to use random poems.



The alphabet of appropriate poems is as follows.



The hiragana and katakana of the random poem are as shown below, giving the impression of a soft, broken handwriting.



I actually tried using random poems. The image below on the left is a scene from the manga '

It's a Gas Shop!! ' and is a poster-style page for the event. The image on the right below is an example of replacing all the poster-style text with random poems, giving it an overall handmade look. Appropriate Poems contains over 8,500 kanji, including alphabets, numbers, hiragana, katakana, and all JIS level 1 and 2 kanji , although some kanji that are not commonly used are not covered. When I tried using it, I never felt inconvenienced because I couldn't use this kanji.
