The development of OD is being carried out in collaboration between Kojima Productions, led by director Kojima, and Microsoft's game studio, Xbox Game Studios. It has also been announced that Jordan Peele, who has worked as a film director, screenwriter, and actor and has won an Academy Award for Best Screenplay, is collaborating in the development as one of the creative partners.
