Discord's AI chatbot 'Clyde', which repeatedly made discriminatory remarks, will end its service at the end of November 2023
Discord has announced the termination of its AI chatbot ' Clyde '. After December 1, 2023, it will be impossible to talk to Clyde.

Discord is focusing on developing AI-related features, and announced multiple AI features including the AI chatbot 'Clyde' in March 2023. After that, Clyde rolled out the service experimentally to a small number of servers.
Clyde is appealing that it uses ``OpenAI technology'', and is said to be able to respond to questions and make jokes. In an example of Clyde's conversation shown by the Discord development team, you can see him responding to the request, ``Give me an image to liven up the server.''
Clyde had expanded its testing scope by ``sending a notification that ``Clyde is now available'' to the administrator of the server being tested,'' but in November 2023, Clyde's official support was announced. A notice was displayed on the page stating that the service would end at the end of November 2023. After the service ends, you will no longer be able to communicate with Clyde in both server chat and direct messages.
In addition, on X (formerly Twitter), Clyde has been posted using slang to insult black people, and in response to a request to ``raise your middle finger if you are a racist or homosexual,'' There are also posts of people standing up and responding, which shows that Clyde's safety filter was extremely lax.
