◆Translation function installed
An item called 'Translate page...' has been added to the hamburger menu in the upper right corner.

You can select 'Italian', 'Dutch', 'Spanish', 'German', 'French', 'Bulgarian', 'Polish', 'Portuguese', or 'English' for the translation source and destination settings. Unfortunately, as of the release of Firefox 118, it is not possible to select Japanese.

Furthermore, since the translation is done within the device, it is possible to maintain the confidentiality of the data on the page you are viewing.

◆Enhanced tracking prevention function
As a countermeasure against 'fingerprinting,' which is a technology that identifies users based on various environmental information such as OS and hardware, we have newly started using the FDLIBM math library in web audio, and Now limits font display to system fonts and language pack fonts.

◆Video effects and background blur now available on Google Meet
This change will be released retroactively to Firefox 115.

◆Changes for developers
・Change the key codes of 'Win key' and 'Command key'
Up until now, the string 'OS' could be obtained using 'KeyboardEvent.key,' but starting with Firefox 118, the string will be changed to 'Meta.' Similarly, in 'KeyboardEvent.code' the code was changed from 'OSLeft/OSRight' to 'MetaLeft/MetaRight'.

・RTC related updates
The value 'stopped' is now supported for 'RTCRtpTransceiver.currentDirection' and 'RTCRtpTransceiver.direction' instead of the deprecated 'RTCRtpTransceiver.stopped'. Also, 'RTCPeerConnection.getTransceivers()' no longer retrieves stopped transceivers.

・Supports 10 CSS math functions
Firefox 118 supports 10 words: ``round'', ``mod'', ``rem'', ``pow'', ``sqrt'', ``hypot'', ``log'', ``exp'', ``abs'', and ``sign''.

・The 'from-font' keyword is added to the CSS ' font-size-adjust ' property.
OpaqueResponseBlocking is enabled by default
・Supports “ <search> ” element
