◆ Manage exception list with DNS over HTTPS
DNS over HTTPS (DoH) is a mechanism that prevents tampering and eavesdropping of DNS data by making DNS requests via HTTPS. This function has been installed in Firefox for some time, but from Firefox 114, the UI has been added to the setting screen to make it easier to understand, and it is now possible to create an exception list.

Starting with Firefox 114, DNS over HTTPS can be enabled by selecting 'Strong protection' in the DNS over HTTPS item on the 'Privacy and security' tab of the settings screen. If you want to access only a specific site with normal DNS, click 'Manage exceptions' OK.

Enter the domain of the site, click 'Add', and when it appears in the list below, click 'Save Changes' to complete the exception registration.

◆ Add 'Find Bookmarks' to Bookmarks menu
You can search for sites registered in bookmarks.

◆ Added 'Search History' to the history menu
You can search for sites in your history.

◆Improved camera performance in Firefox for macOS
Until now, camera capture was only available at resolutions up to 1280x720 pixels. Firefox 114 and later will be able to capture in all resolutions.

When you click the gear mark on the extension panel, the menu 'Move up' and 'Move down' is displayed, and it is now possible to sort.

◆ Expansion of FIDO2/WebAuthn support range
It is now possible to perform authentication using FIDO2 and WebAuthn on macOS, Linux, and Windows 7. However, a PIN must be set on the device to use some functions, such as logging in without a password.

◆ Changes for developers
・The 'Copy as cURL' function in the network tab of the developer tools has been enhanced.
Firefox developer tools have a function that allows you to copy the cURL code that makes the same request as that communication by right-clicking on the communication and clicking 'Copy value' to 'Copy as cURL'. Firefox 114 now supports the '--compressed' argument.

・Improved to accurately recognize ARIA in the accessibility tab of developer tools.
It now correctly recognizes banner, main, navigation, contentinfo, etc. It is stated that this change will help developers using ARIA to improve accessibility.

・Support() syntax for @import is now available
It is now possible to import while checking if a specific CSS feature is supported.

At the same time, the imported rule conditions are now visible in the developer tools inspector.

WebTransport enabled
By using this function, it is possible to perform low-latency communication in games, live streams, etc. As of Firefox 114, WebTransport is implemented using HTTP3, but we plan to support WebTransport with HTTP2 in the future.

・Support ES Modules in DedicatedWorker and SharedWorker
・'infinity' and 'NaN' can be used in the CSS calc function

Firefox 114 also includes multiple security bug fixes .
