The call screen in the iOS 16 phone app looks something like this. The end call button is centered at the bottom of the screen.
However, in the beta version of iOS 17 released by Apple in August 2023, the call end button has moved to the bottom right of the screen. If you check the screenshot below taken by CNBC of overseas media, you can see that the end call button has moved to the lower right, and the mute button and keypad button have moved to the bottom of the screen.
After that, in the beta version of iOS 17 released on August 15, 2023, the call end button returned to the center at the bottom of the screen. However, other buttons are still placed at the bottom of the screen, and the button placement on the call screen is very different from iOS 16.
However, since iOS 17 is in beta testing, it is highly possible that the button layout will change again before the official release.
