Google announces that it will add 'image and video' function to AI search, super convenient function that AI finds only the necessary part of the video
On August 2, 2023, Google announced that it will add new features related to images and videos to the `` Search Generative Experience (SGE) '' that displays AI-generated answers in search results.

Google updated its official blog on August 2nd, revealing that the ability to add AI-generated summaries to search results will now support multimedia. This makes it possible, for example, to search for 'what is the smallest bird of prey?' and see an image of what that bird looks like.
In addition, AI-based searches now support video, so the information users want to know can now be displayed with videos. Below is the demonstration, 'How to remove marble stains' is briefly summarized in bullet points, and a link to the movie is attached below it.

Google also announced that links to articles in AI-generated summary boxes will be marked with the article's publication date to give an at-a-glance indication of how current the information is.
IT news site 9to5Google also reported that it found prominent inline source links added to information compiled by AI. This makes it much easier to track and check the accuracy of the information presented by AI, as it becomes possible to clearly see which part of the information comes from which site.
According to 9to5Google, the only search query that was able to add this in-text link was the one above, and it was not added to other search results. From this, 9to5Google said, 'I think this feature is still in the early stages of testing.'
Google also revealed that it has significantly cut the time it takes for AI to generate a summary field by half.
