Serve Robotics is a company founded in 2017 as the robot division of Uber-owned food delivery service Postmates.
Uber Eats and Serve Robotics will begin testing automated delivery robots in West Hollywood starting in 2022. We deliver from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm with Level 4 automated driving.
The expanded partnership will bring Uber Eats to automated delivery with a total of 2,000 robots in San Jose, Dallas and Vancouver. The period is until the beginning of 2026.
Uber Eats is actively working on automatic delivery, and announced in 2022 to start testing delivery using autonomous robots and self-driving cars.
In 2023, we have announced that we will be partnering with Waymo and will be able to use fully self-driving cars for deliveries.
