Since Tesla, a new electric vehicle maker, has developed a household storage battery ' Powerwall ' and it can be introduced in Japan, I installed this Powerwall and the solar panel necessary for power generation in the GIGAZINE editorial department .

Powerwall is a facility that stores electricity from surplus electricity obtained from solar power generation systems, etc., and automatically supplies electricity to the home when a power outage is detected. It can be introduced without a solar power generation system, but this time we have also introduced a solar power generation system.
As for the installation process, scaffolding is first installed, the roof is painted, solar panels are installed, and then the scaffolding is dismantled. Then the electrical work and the installation of Powerwall are carried out.

The air conditioner in the important server room is also turned off, so during that time, I use a commercial fan to blow outside air from the balcony next to it to cool it down. This is exactly the reason why I did construction in winter.
And this is the favorite Powerwall. A size that can finally be carried by two adults.

Installation completed. Powerwall, which is one size larger than the outdoor unit next to it, is enshrined.
