Brian Temple, who lives in Red Car, North Yorkshire, committed suicide after being mistakenly stigmatized as a 'pedophile' by police. Temple was 34 years old when he died on December 31, 2017.

According to a hearing on the cause of Mr. Temple's death held at the Magistrates' Court of Teesside, Mr. Temple was arrested by Cleveland police on June 8, 2017, stealing sausage rolls from the British bakery chain Greggs. Mr. Temple, who was arrested, was released on the same day.

A document issued by Cleveland police to Mr. Temple at the time of his release stated that the reason for his arrest was not theft but 'a crime of inciting a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl,' but Mr. Temple said. Without knowing that, I showed the documents to the woman who was dating at that time. And as women spread it, Temple was abused on the streets, attacked at home, and hit in the head at golf clubs.

Temple, who later became drowned in alcohol and drugs, was found dead in his family six months after his arrest. The doctor in charge of the autopsy reported that 'alcohol and drugs were detected in Mr. Temple's body, but they did not contribute to Mr. Temple's death, and the cause of death was hanged.' ..

Cleveland police officer Agar said in a hearing that he explained to Temple that it was 'a real human error' when he was protested by Temple about a document error a month before his death. In response to this incident, the Independent Office for Police Conduct, which is in charge of appealing the police's disposition, conducted an investigation into the cause of the mistake and instructed the Cleveland police to prevent recurrence.

In addition, the British tabloid Daily Mail said, 'Temple had a lover named Tasha Crunge, 29 years old, who had been dating for 5 years and was found pregnant two months after Temple's death, but the police. The woman who accidentally stigmatized Mr. Temple is not Mr. Crunge, but another woman whom Mr. Temple had been dating with Mr. Crunge in secret. ' not.

A Cleveland police spokeswoman commented, 'We would like to express our deepest condolences to Temple's family, who are facing incredible difficulties.'
