According to an internal note originally obtained by MacRumors, which reports Apple-related news, Apple plans to qualify customers who have repaired their iPhone or Mac at the Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for a second Apple Care + purchase. It seems that it is doing. However, it is necessary that 'the purchase of the device is less than one year' that the second purchase is permitted.
If you're not sure if your iPhone has been repaired by the Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider, starting with iOS 15.2, tap Settings> General> Version Information> Parts and Service History. It will be possible to check whether parts such as the battery and display are genuine Apple products. IOS 15.2 will be released as early as the third week of 2021.
If an Apple product user uses Apple's official repair service without subscribing to Apple Care +, they will be required to pay the full repair price. If the repair is completed less than a year after the purchase of the Apple product, this user will be able to subscribe to Apple Care + and receive support for subsequent repairs.
Please note that changes to AppleCare + will be available in all countries and regions where AppleCare + is available.
