Raspberry Pi developer plans to list on the London Stock Exchange



Raspberry Pi is used in various fields as an inexpensive single board computer. The British daily Telegraph reported that Raspberry Pi (Trading) Ltd, which is in charge of developing such Raspberry Pi, is planning to list on the London Stock Exchange.

An inexpensive single board computer, the Raspberry Pi is used to develop portable blood test devices ,machines that burn mosquitoes with laser irradiation, and a project to reproduce the tricorder that appears in 'Star Trek.' But it is used.

According to a Telegraph report, the Raspberry Pi (Trading) Ltd plans to list on the London Stock Exchange in the spring of 2022 and has already hired

advisors from investment banks Liberum and Stifel. Sources close to the Telegraph say RaspberryPi (Trading) Ltd is expected to reach a valuation of $ 439 million.

Eben Upton, founder of the Raspberry Pi Foundation and CEO of Raspberry Pi (Trading) Ltd, told The Telegraph that the Raspberry Pi is always looking for ways to fund the future of its business. In fact, it was reported that RaspberryPi (Trading) Ltd was planning an IPO in March 2021, and in September 2021 Raspberry to meet the increase in demand due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
