'App that loves tank tracks' review that allows you to enjoy the tracks that sway realistically while driving the tank on your iPhone for free

For those who just want to see the tank's

crawler belt and running wheels that run on endless tracks instead of tires, an iOS app that lets you move the tank as you like on your iPhone and enjoy the movement of the crawler belt. Chobi has released 'an app that loves tank tracks' for free. I actually touched it to see how I could enjoy the tracks.

'App for tank tracks' on the App Store
https://apps.apple.com/jp/app/tank-physics-mobile/id1561692393

Tap 'Get' on the App Store to install.

When you start the application, it looks like this. The tanks are the former Soviet Federal Army medium tank '

T-34 ' 76mm main gun type ' T-34-76 ' and 85mm main gun type ' T-34-85 ', and also the former Soviet Federal Army heavy tank. You can choose from four types, KV-1 and KV-2. For example, if you tap 'T-34 76' ...

T-34-76 appears in a wide area. You can operate the tank for 3 minutes, and a countdown is displayed at the top of the screen.

Move the left scroll bar up to move it up, and move it down to move it back. If you move the scroll bar on the right to the left or right, it

will make a super-credit turn in the direction of movement and change direction. You can also change the position of the camera by swiping the screen.

And when you tap the red circle icon at the bottom right ...

Fire the main gun.

Tap the white circle icon at the bottom right to rotate the turret.

The following movie is where the main gun is fired while actually moving the T-34-76.

The T-34 features a suspension that combines a large-diameter wheel with a long-stroke coil-spring suspension, inspired by an American-derived Christie tank. When you actually play, the car body shakes gently every time you cross a step, and the big wheels sink so as to absorb the shock.

However, if you force yourself to speed up and go over the steps, the tracks will come off.

The major feature of the Christie suspension was that it could run with only the wheels removed, but it became inoperable when the wheels were completely removed. In such a case, tap the round arrow icon on the upper right ...

The position and state of the tank will be reset.

You can change the wheels by tapping the layer icon at the bottom center.

This time I tried to fly the KV-2. The Kv-2 is

equipped with a 152mm howitzer and weighs 52t, which is considerably less maneuverable than the T-34. Also, the suspension method and the size of the wheels are completely different from the T-34.

The maneuverability of the KV-2 is slower than that of the T-34.

You can see what the KV-2 actually does by watching the following movie. The T-34-76's 152mm howitzer has a very large recoil, and you can see that the body sways more when the main gun is fired than the T-34.

Maneuvering a tank is basically AT driving just by pressing the accelerator, but you can also switch to MT driving. Tap the gear icon on the top right ...

Tap Stepwise to turn it on.

It is possible to drive by switching gears from back (2nd gear) to 4th gear up and down. You can put the gear in neutral by tapping the square icon on the left.

The movement of the KV-1, the predecessor of the KV-2 equipped with a 76.2mm gun, looks like this.

It takes 3 minutes to fly like this. To continue playing, either watch the ad or enable unlimited mode for a separate charge of 250 yen including tax. Of course, if you restart the app, you can fly for another 3 minutes, but if you want to fly the tank as long as you feel like it, you can charge for it.
