There was a case where iCloud could not be used for 6 months due to the name

An actress who appears in movies and dramas reports that she was locked out of iCloud for half a year because of her surname.

Rachel True uses Twitter 'Can get your coders to free my last name from icloud jail? Been locked out for 6+ months because of an uncapitalized t in TRUE, my surname but also a computer command. Now that I a layman have explained problem to you a giant computer company, could u fix? @Apple @AppleSupport '/ Twitter

iCloud coding error locks out Rachel True over a boolean flag --9to5Mac

Actress Rachel True reported this. I posted a screenshot of the dialog 'iCloud has stopped responding.' On February 27, 2021. In the dialog, 'Type error: cannot set value'true' to property'lastName' on' is displayed, and it can be read that the input content in the last name field is a problem.

Mr. True apparently entered 'true' instead of 'True' in the surname field, and I'm guessing that this was interpreted as a Boolean flag and an error occurred.

It's not clear if it's the problem that True actually typed 'true' in lowercase, but it's true that this surname is the problem.

True repeatedly tweeted to '@apple' and '@AppleSupport' about what could be done.

Apple's iCloud manager, Arun Gupta, is finally responding to this March 6th tweet.

In addition, Apple should have a bounty program when a bug is found, but in this case, Mr. True tweeted that Apple has offered to refund the iCloud fee during the period when it was not available.
