Google's smart speaker 'Google Nest Audio' reborn with overwhelming sound opened & photo review

The smart speaker ' Google Nest Audio ', which is 75% louder and 50% stronger in bass than Google Home, has been released on October 15, 2020 (Thursday). Google Nest Audio is a device that is more focused on sound, and if you connect multiple Google Nest Audio as a stereo pair, you can separate the left and right channels. Since it is possible to group devices and play the same song at the same time, I opened it immediately and carefully checked the appearance.

Google Nest Audio looks like this-YouTube

This is Google Nest Audio that arrived.

When I open it ...

It contained Google Nest Audio, a quick starter guide, and a power adapter.

Inside the box, the side containing the buttons and logo was in the upper state, but this is the back. The button is a microphone switch, and there is a terminal for the adapter at the bottom right.

Move the microphone switch to the right to turn it on.

The port looks like this. The adapter is 30W, 24V.

And the one without any buttons is the front. The size is 124 mm wide x 175 mm high x 78 mm deep.

right side.

There is nothing on the left side, but it is a specification to tap the left side to lower the volume.

Top surface.

You can see the 'G' logo on the bottom.

It weighs 1167g, so ...

It's about this size when you hold it in your hand.

After connecting to the power adapter for a while ...

The front light turned on and the voice 'Thank you for using. Please download the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet to get started' was heard.

With that said, we will continue to review the sound of Google Nest Audio, which is 'strong against bass,' and how multiple Google Nest Audios are grouped to play music, so stay tuned!
