``Spirit farer'' play review depicting the encounter and farewell with the lost souls in the beautiful open sea spreading between life and death

In a world between fantastic life and death, ` `Spiritfarer '' traveling on the sea as a mysterious boatman who saves souls who have died while leaving their unborn heart , 2020 on Nintendo Switch It is

scheduled to appear on September 29th (Tuesday). Since it was possible to play on Steam from Tuesday, August 18, 2020, about a month earlier, I tried playing the Steam version to see what kind of game it is.

The start screen looks something like this. Select 'New Game' to start the game.

The main character is Stella (left) of the boatman. With his buddy Dafodil (right), he will adventure the open ocean between life and death as a spirit farer who plays the role of 'leading the lost soul'.

The purpose of Stellas is to collect lost souls somewhere in the world while sailing on a large ship.

It is the role of Spirit Farah to unravel and resolve the regrets of the collected souls. Many of the lost souls who travel together by boat have an animal-like appearance, so the overall atmosphere is quite fantastic. Gwen, the deer on the right when visiting the ship for the first time, is one of the lost souls.

The cruise will proceed while deciding the destination in the wheelhouse on the ship.

The destination can be set by the red framed machine inside the room.

There is no need to steer the ship or worry about the wind direction and wind force, and the boat will automatically head to the destination set based on the map, so you can move without stress.

You can spend free time on the ship while you're on the move, but there are lots of junk on the ship right after you start the journey. Lost souls are not at ease. First of all, Stella's job is to prepare the equipment on board.

By examining the blueprint on the ship, it is possible to add equipment to the ship.

It is only within the red frame that you can touch from the beginning. But as you continue your journey, you'll be able to edit a wider area.

As long as you have all the necessary materials, you can build a building instantly without the need for construction days. Various facilities can be built according to the purpose, such as rooms where souls can relax, kitchens, and fields.

The materials needed for construction are the cutting of trees on an island rich in nature...

You can collect it by purchasing it on the island where the prosperous city is located. On islands and towns, you can get not only building materials, but also seeds that can be used in fields and cooking materials.

The seeds are raised in the fields made on board.

You can also use the ingredients you get on the island and the crops you get from the fields to cook in the kitchen on board.

Cooking is not for Stella to eat, but for the souls to eat. Since the souls are hungry, you can feed them from the “Food” category that appears when you talk to them.

Each soul has its own favorite foods and disliked foods, so we try to find out the tastes of the souls by feeding and listening to various kinds of food. You can become more intimate if you give them your favorite food.

Also, one of the important roles of Spirit Farah is 'hug'. Hugging the souls and becoming intimate may be the catalyst for their clues.

The remnants of the souls are not immediately audible, and as they continue to travel and build trust, they gradually open themselves to Stella. Feel free to play and see what souls have and what they can do to satisfy them.

In addition, the Spiritfarer of Steam I played this time does not support Japanese. The Japanese version of Spiritfarer is scheduled to appear on Nintendo Switch, and you can check what the Japanese version of Spiritfarer looks like from the following movie.
