'Drive-through strip show' was born under the influence of the pandemic, and social distance was thoroughly maintained

From the end of 2019, in order to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infectious disease, which is rampant, we are maintaining the social distance and refraining from going out with the slogan of 'Stay Home' in all the countries including Japan. However, many industries have been economically impacted by people leaving their homes. Meanwhile, a strip club in Oregon, USA, is holding a drive-through strip show.

At the Lucky Devil Lounge, a strip club in Portland, Oregon, employees are closed due to refraining from going out after the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the owner, Shon Boulden, came up with the idea of opening a drive-thru strip show in the club's parking lot.

Mr. Bolden installed a tent, a stage, audio equipment, and a fence in the parking lot, and modified it to open a strip show while keeping a social distance. When the preparation was completed, Mr. Bolden installed the GoPro in his car and checked with friends and colleagues whether it was actually enjoyable. Bolden commented that the performance of the drive-through strip show was 'great'.

“Strip dancers are also happy to work and are recognized as essential workers,” Bolden said.
