Obayashi was born in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture in 1938. When I was three years old, I started working on video since I was young when I found an activity camera in my home storage room.

He has been involved in television commercials since the early days, working on `` Mandom '', which was a huge hit with Charles Bronson, `` Honda Road Pal '' with Sophia Loren, `` Fontaine '' with Catherine Deneuve, etc. He was called the master of the world.

The commercial movie was first directed at 'HOUSE / House', released in 1977, and then based on 'The Visitor in the Eyes' based on Tezuka Osamu's manga 'Black Jack' and a novel written by Taku Bimura. Produced “The Aimed School”. In the 1980s, 'transfer students,' 'time-consuming girls,' and 'sabi shinbo' performed their locations in Onomichi, where they came from, and were called 'Onomichi trilogy' by fans.

Obayashi, who continued to make films vigorously after receiving the Medal with the Purple Ribbon in the spring of 2004 and the Asahi Small Ribbon in the fall of 2009, had lung cancer in August 2016 ahead of the crank-in of the movie `` HANAGATAMI '' Stage 4 turns out to be sentenced to life expectancy.

Nevertheless, he completed 'HANAGATAMI' and produced 'The Seaside Movie Theater-Kinema's Tamate Box' where he again went on location in Onomichi. The release of the work was scheduled for April 10, 2020 (Friday), but this was the news of the death of Yayoi who was postponed due to the effect of the new coronavirus.

Mr. Obayashi's comments for the release of “The Seaside Movie Theater-Kinema no Tamate Box” are as follows.

My father told me, 'Live freely, that's a proof of peace,' and at the corner of a gallery in Ginza, I used an 8mm movie that I gave me as a substitute for me, who came to Tokyo at the age of 18 without a spot. When he screened his 8mm film, he was accredited by the world as 'the birth of a new film artist'. Since then, he has been making personal films for 60 years using TV commercials. Invited by Toho Film, the first time that the outsider Han took a photo at a major studio, “House / House”, learned that any pure literary art could become a commercial film if the genre was selected, and was a pure military boy in the Pacific War. Based on his experience, he has been making 'war films' while hiding his thoughts in films of various genres. Kyoko Obayashi, who has been supporting my movie for 61 years with `` I am ready to become a wife of an unsold writer '' and has been living together while linking my movie to `` I am the first audience '' and `` HOUSE at the age of 11 / The house's original author, Nagato Senshuyu, the writer of the lord of the house, Taketo Mori Izumi, and friends from the old and new generations are working hard to make films today. One day, there were only personal movies, and it was the world of filmmaking that I wanted. I hope you enjoy the testimony of your personal freedom and the inconvenience of the powerful. I'm glad if my identity is roasted.

The movie 'Seaside Movie Theater-Kinema Tamate Box' will be released soon.
