According to a tweet by CEO Elon Musk, the brightest Tesla Model Y was the one millionth in production.
Tesla was founded in July 2003 as Tesla Motors, named after the inventor Nikola Tesla. In 2008, the first model 'Roadster' began marketing. Subsequently, the Model S was launched in 2012, the Model X in 2015, and the Model 3 in 2017. In 2019, we launched the first compact SUV, the Model Y.
Model S was released in 2014 in Japan.
Initially, Model 3 suffered from a problem in the production process and the production volume did not increase, causing significant damage to Tesla's business performance.
However, the sales volume of Tesla 3 increased from the latter half of 2018, producing 250,000 units annually. In 2019, the scale was increased to 350,000 units per year.
In the case of Toyota, monthly production is around 700,000.
