Designer'sJordan DrepaHe has lived in Japan and also has his own sitePage talking about Japanese culture in JapaneseIs posted. The games that made him want to play the Japanese culture he loves is "TOKYO JIDOHANBAIKI" "TOKYO METRO" "TOKYO JUTAKU".

"TOKYO JIDOHANBAIKI"Is a game based on Japanese vending machines and drinks as a motif.

It is the miniature of this white vending machine that draws particular attention in the bundled items of the game. Vending machines can also put jars from the top.

It also comes with a colorful PET bottle and bottle case miniature.

"TOKYO JIDOHANBAIKI" has more than 20 kinds of play rules prepared, and designers from various countries including the Japanese participate in the game design. Every rule has a playing time of about 5 to 10 minutes, the type of game is wide, it is said that it is designed to enjoy any situation and number of people.

"TOKYO METRO"Has a motif of Tokyo subway. It is a full-fledged management & investment simulation game that assumes 4 players and play time is about 60 minutes to 90 minutes.

Players will become investors and develop subway stations. And while efficiently moving salaried workers using the subway, we aim to earn more money.

Maps used in the game include the name of the subway station that actually goes to Tokyo, such as "AOYAMA ITCHOME (Aoyama 1 Chomei)" "ROPPONGI (Roppongi)" "AKASAKA - MITSUKE (Akasakamitsuke)", The same color as the real one is used.

"TOKYO JUTAKU"Has become a game with puzzle elements to quickly combine various shapes of wooden parts so that they do not protrude from the planned construction site and match the conditions. The number of players is set to 8 people.

Written on the card is the planned construction site, the Japanese housing situation that "a small house is cramped on a narrow land" is reproduced in the game. Real names of places such as "Ueno (Ueno)" "Shibuya (Shibuya)" "Shinjuku (Shinjuku)" are written together.

Three types of "TOKYO" series can be played independently, but you can also combine to play. For example, the image below seems to be playing with "TOKYO JIDOHANBAIKI" combined with "TOKYO JUTAKU".

The "TOKYO" series is currently looking for commercialization and is seeking investment with Kickstarter. For the target amount of 21,000 dollars (about 2.3 million yen), amounts exceeding 100,000 dollars (about 11 million yen) have already gathered at the time of article creation. One person who likes either "TOKYO JIDOHANBAIKI" or "TOKYO JUTAKU" with a capital of 35 dollars (about 3900 yen) or more, "TOKYO METRO" with one investment of more than $ 45 (about 5000 yen), 99 Acquisition of all three kinds of "TOKYO" series is promised with investment of dollar (about 11,000 yen) or more. The delivery to Japan is also done and a shipping fee of $ 15 (about 1700 yen) is required separately. Also, in the product version, rule books and some contents are translated into Japanese, so even if you can not read English you can play with confidence.
