Google is testing the ability to upload food pictures to Google Maps
ByHenar Lanchas
Google tested the service called "Tablescape" which shares the pictures of food for several months from February 2015. Unfortunately the service ended at the end of the testing period, but Google has not given up on "food pictures", but this time it seems to be testing the ability to upload pictures directly to Google Maps.

Google Maps has a function to attach marks and notes to spots on your own, but photos can only be linked to ones that are already uploaded on the net, and once you decide to use photos taken by you, once I had to upload somewhere.
What we are currently testing is that you can upload your photos directly to Google Maps. The procedure is explained in Ausdroid and AndroidPolice.
First of all, we normally take pictures of meals at restaurants and bars.
BeforehandManage Location HistoryWhenNotification from Google MapsIf you turn on, Google Maps will send you notifications, judging that it is a specific business.
All you have to do is upload the photos to Google Maps.
Although it seems to be still in the test phase at the moment, if this function is widely used, when examining the location of a shop on Google Maps, unlike image retrieval, the picture actually shot at the store It should be linked and displayed. It seems that it seems to be useful as it seems to be useful to understand what kind of items actually comes out rather than photos of the menu.
