"Bolt" is the successor to "Lockitron" below. Lockitron seems to be a big hit, but the order receipt speed was not in time for the production speed. Therefore, judging that "I can not continue making Lockitron that takes time to produce," we redeveloped based on feedback received from investors and users. The result was born Bolt.


Bolt body communication changed to Bluetooth LE with less power consumption. Since it does not use Wi-Fi, it can now operate even at power outages. The application is compatible with iOS and Android. Although it was unnecessary to drill a hole into the door to attach to the key from the front model, it reflects feedback and it is evolving more easily to install. In addition, the Bolt main unit operates for 6 months with 4 AA batteries.

Also, with "Key Match" function, existing physical keys can be unlocked. Bolt can be used without problems even if you lose your smartphone or rented houses.


Because Bolt is Bluetooth communication, it only supports close proximity communication, but if you use "BRIDGE" (sold separately), you can remotely control by Wi-Fi communication. You can unlock and unlock keys from smartphones anywhere in the world, as well as know the locked state at home.


Bolt is accepting preliminary reservations. The price of Bolt alone is $ 99 (about 11,500 yen), and the set with Bridge is $ 178 (about 20,000 yen).
