"Cube Tube" where water does not spill when making ice

In a refrigerator not equipped with an automatic ice maker, although water is filled with urine to make ice, it often spills until it reaches the freezer and then returns to the water supply with water again. The idea issued to solve such a problem is "Cube Tube". I made a flat design ice tray into a box type case and designed to prevent water from spilling while carrying.

Cube Tube is a plastic ice-making case with a silicon partition inside. The size is 245 mm in height × 50 mm in width × 50 mm in length. Since it is partitioned so that ice can be made for each of seven on the front and back, a total of 14 ice can be made at once.

First, fill the case with water ......

Put the partition inside.

Because it is sealed perfectly, it will not spill water until you bring it to the freezer.

If it is made into a box type, there is a possibility that ice may become one lump at the time of taking out, but since the bottom of the Cube Tube is made of silicon and soft, it is possible to split the ice by hitting the bottom to a hard place . Then you can pull the steering wheel and take out as many ice as you like.

If you have a Cube Tube, it will not be a hassle, triple effort twice at the time of ice making, even children can handle it easily. In addition, Cube Tube is currently being examined for commercialization and price.
