Gorgeous New Poster of "Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer" Unveiled

Illustration for the new official poster of upcoming anime film Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer came out. It features ten main characters as well as the new mobile suit "00 QAN[T]"(pronounced as Double Oh Quanta), and reportedly some secrets of the "biggest enemy ever" is hidden in the poster.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer is to premiere on September 18, 2010. Here's the illustration to be featured on the new poster and flyers of the movie. Pink-haired Feldt Grace looks like the main heroine here.

There's a buoy-like object in the background which might be a space colony, or the "biggest enemy ever".

It was also announced that the film will have two theme songs (not specified as opening and ending), one by THE BACK HORN and the other by UVERworld.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 is the first series in the Gundam franchise to adopt our real-life year numbering system (AD) instead of the Universal Century timeline. The movie is set in AD 2314, and the background is worked out to details with the help of famous military commentator Isaku Okabe, with the intention to be more realistic and more open to main-stream sci-fi fans who haven't seen previous Gundam titles.
