Latest Trailer of "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha" Movie with Transforming Scene and Starlight Breaker

The anime film Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha THE MOVIE 1st is to come out on January 23, 2010. A trailer which was previously only shown at the theatres to run Nanoha came out today on the official website. The 3-min. trailer includes Nanoha's transformation sequence (which is one of the main attraction of the magical girl genre) and you can also see Nanoha firing her powerful weapon Starlight Breaker.

The two are destined to fight.

The transforming sequence follows the tradition of magical girl animes, in line with Sailor Moon.

Some of the battle scenes were shown as stills in the trailer. Look forward to how they'll be animated in the film.

Nanoha's ultimate attack "Starlight Breaker" involves collecting and reusing the magical energy left over by previous attacks dispersed in the combat airspace for a new attack, creating the "light beam converging" effect.

Nanoha still has hopes to befriend Fate. "Tomodachi ni...naritainda..."(I wanna be your friend) is her catchphrase.

The advance ticket is now on sale.

By the way, Japanese audience tends to be quiet while watching a movie (except little children cheering the hero on the screen or dancing and singing along), but since Nanoha has extremely devoted and enthusiastic fans, some audience might get overheated. This is a manga predicting the excitement.
