Sony's Ultra Thin "VAIO X" Photo Review: CEATEC JAPAN 2009


On September 30 Sony announced "VAIO X Series", the ultra-thin (12.7mm) and ultra-light (680g) new model in their VAIO laptop line. Today they unveiled the actual product at CEATEC JAPAN 2009 held at Makuhari Messe.

11.1" laptop "VAIO X" runs on Windows 7. A long-life (up to a whole day) battery will also be on sale.

It looks to be almost as thin as Type P. Or is it thinner?


Two USB ports on the left side.


Keyboard and touchpad.


LAN port and RGB outlet on right.


Details including the sales date, price and CPU are as yet undisclosed.
