A 65-year-old man who fought across Australia while pushing a wheelbarrow

While he was 65 years old, there were men who succeeded in running across Australia. It seems that about A $ 20,000 (about 1.16 million yen) for charity was put in the pushing wheel pushed.

Although it is ridiculous healthy legs, the photograph which understands the trained body that can nod to cross Australia is also released.

Details are as below.

David Baird from Somerset in the southwestern part of England is in the western part of AustraliaPerthIt ran from pushing the wheelbarrow to the Manly beach in the eastern part and crossed it.

Mr. David when leaving Perth.

Mr. David when he reached Manly Beach.

The distance that I ran was 4115 km, and it took about 70 towns over 112 days. Mr. David said he did not think he would be able to accomplish the crossing, "I was worried most about whether I could survive while I was running."

Mr. David after the goal to go running. It is a ridiculous body that can not be thought of as being 65 years old.

Mr. David basically ran 10 to 12 hours a day, eating fruits and vegetables, and lost 7 kg in weight. The idea that runs with the wheelbarrow is from the race held near home in Australia. The $ 20,000 collected in a wheelbarrow will be donated to the fund for breast cancer and prostate cancer.

Mr. David's blog has been able to see the history as well.
