I went to Reception at the Ukiyo-e art exhibition held by Gimme Toyo Art Museum

From tomorrow on the Ukiyo-e collections held by the French National Guinea Toyo Art MuseumOsaka City Art MuseumI went there because I was invited to the reception (to show off to the stakeholders etc. beforehand).

The "tiger figure" which is also in the above picture is a collection of Ota Memorial Museum of Art, "dragon figure" is in the collection of the Gimme Toyo Museum of French, the decoration was the same, so perhaps this is not a thing drawn as a pair? As I looked it up, it turned out that it was Katsushika Hokusaku. The reason why I did not notice was that it was a "90-year old man". Since Katsushika Hokusai died at the age of 90, this picture was drawn in the latter most years, not later in life. I am amazed at how old things can be drawn even at the age of 90. It was said that he drew about 30,000 points before his death, so it seems that the equivalent brush was earlier.

So, I would like to report on the photograph and movie what kind of reception of such art museum system I usually do not touch the public's eyes.
Exhibition of Ukiyo-e painting held by Gimme Toyo Art Museum

This is the Osaka municipal museum. If we do not have an invitation this time we will be stopped at the entrance before our arrival.

The place where turned from the entrance to the other. Tsutenkaku is visible on the right.

The reception hall looks like this

This dragon and tiger existed separately in Japan and France respectively. The real thing is properly displayed inside.

I will make a speech here, but I can not miss an example of other events and it's not funny.

I am waiting. It is the female announcer of NHK Osaka who serves as a moderator who can see in the back left.

Reception began

In greeting

Tape cutting often seen on TV

Shocking the tape

How long have you been invited, this is about

Chandelier on top, huge

The right side is all the exhibition hall, the second floor is the permanent exhibition venue

A work collection of works exhibited as reception is available free of charge. Usually it is about 2000 yen first half and I have to purchase it. By the way, the admission fee of 1200 yen is also free.

The exhibition hall looks like this. NHK and so on are shooting. Since there are only invited guests, there is basically no way to say something even in places where photography is prohibited. As expected it is necessary to obtain permission before bringing in equipment like NHK.

In fact, after having circled around having exhibited, there is tea or sweets, so we can exchange business cards there, but this time it was different from where we were doing so it is not quite so easy to see the place, quite it is pretty By the time I got to go, most of the guests were back and I could not exchange meaningful business cards .... Regrettable. Normally, I will expand my personal connections to various occasions like this.

In addition, people who attended numerous art reception related receptions and who invited GIGAZINE this time seems to be "Under the plum if this reception is rated by Shochiku Mei". More than that, the permanent exhibition on the second floor of this Osaka municipal art museum is amazing. Combs, netsuke, treasure chests, ink paintings, etc. are all such impressive. If you go to the Osaka municipal art museum, let 's take a closer look at not only special exhibitions but permanent exhibitions on the second floor every corner, there are many things that are quite valuable. Even if you look at amateurs, there are many quality items that seems to be "amazing", so it's for beginners.
