In Tokyo Doc, there are three vertical columns of clues and three horizontal rows of clues, and the game involves filling in a 3x3 grid. For example, in the square enclosed in the red box below, you just need to answer with the name of a Tokyo subway station that satisfies both the vertical clue 'station name has 2 characters' and the horizontal clue 'contains the character '田''. Click on the square.
Station names are selected from a list, and you can also narrow down your search. Since the station name has two characters and contains the character '田' (ta), '三田' (Sanda) was selected.
The squares you answer correctly will be filled in with green. Please note that you cannot enter the same station name in multiple squares. For example, 'Shinjuku' fits into two categories: 'Station name has 2 characters and is on the Marunouchi Line' and 'Marunouchi Line has 2 or more lines,' but you can only enter it in one of them.
If you enter an incorrect station name, the square will not be filled, and one heart icon will be removed from the display. Three mistakes will result in a game over.
The goal is to fill in all the squares within 3 mistakes.
The game ends if you make three mistakes or give up. You can check the correct answer options for each square by clicking 'See Answer'.
If you're confident in your knowledge of the Tokyo subway system, click 'Expert' in the top menu to switch modes.
When filling in the squares, the station name list is not displayed, and no suggestions appear even when you type characters, so you have to enter stations that meet the vertical and horizontal conditions without any hints.
The questions in Tokyo Doc change daily. To try past questions, click 'Archive'.
By selecting a date, you can try quizzes you haven't played yet.
