Nothing has announced the 'Phone (4b)' smartphone, featuring a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor and being cheaper than the 'Phone (4a)'.

Smartphone manufacturer Nothing has announced its new 'Phone (4b)'. This is the company's first (b) series. The specifications and price appear to be lower than the (a) series.

The Phone (4b) is available in three colors: black, white, and blue.

The main camera has a resolution of 50MP and an aperture of f/1.8. It also features optical image stabilization. Below the main camera is an ultra-wide-angle camera with a 119.5-degree field of view. Video recording supports 4K at 30fps, and 1080p at 30fps or 60fps.

The front camera has a 16MP resolution and an f/2.4 aperture. The viewing angle is 81.8 degrees. The display is a 6.77-inch SUPER AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2344. It has an 8-bit color depth, 16.7 million colors, and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. The peak brightness is 2000 nits, and the adaptive refresh rate is up to 120Hz.

The battery capacity is 5200mAh, except for the Indian version which has a 6000mAh battery. Charging speed is 33W, and it also supports 7.5W reverse wired charging. The device has IP64 dust and water resistance.

The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 with a maximum clock speed of 2.3GHz . The 'Phone (4a)' and 'Phone (4a) Pro ,' which were released in March 2026, were equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with a maximum clock speed of 2.7GHz, so the specifications are slightly lower.

Supports Wi-Fi 6, 4G LTE bands, and 5G NR bands. Uses Nano-SIM (4FF) and supports dual SIMs. Also supports e-SIM in Japan only. NFC is supported, but support for mobile payment services (Osaifu-Keitai) is unknown.

The package includes a USB Type-C cable, a pre-applied screen protector, a case, a SIM tray removal tool, and safety and warranty documents.

Further detailed specifications and a comparison table with the 'Phone (4a)' and 'Phone (4a) Pro' are shown below. Since the price for Japan has not yet been released, the price column lists the UK selling price at the time of writing for reference, along with its Japanese yen equivalent. The Japanese version of the Phone (4a) is more than 20,000 yen cheaper than the UK version, so the Phone (4b) may also be similarly cheaper.
