X (formerly Twitter) has added a new live streaming feature called 'Live Studio' to its Creator Studio, adding simplified settings, chat control options, thumbnail uploads, and other features, and is reportedly planning to monetize the feature.

While it was previously possible to live stream on X, the newly added 'Live Studio' is a live streaming function accessible from the Creator Studio and is available to paid premium accounts or accounts verified by X.

To start a live stream, simply select a title and media source. The setup is very easy.

You can select your live stream schedule from the calendar.

You can select the audience for the live stream.

You can check the replies, viewer count, and comment count trends in real time during the live stream.

Of course, you can also post announcements about the start of a live stream from the Creator Studio.

According to Nikita Bier, head of product at X, they have set aside $1 million (approximately 161 million yen) to support creators who live stream from their creator studio. A monetization campaign is expected to take place, but details are unknown at the time of writing.
