X (formerly Twitter) has added a new live streaming feature called 'Live Studio' to its Creator Studio, adding simplified settings, chat control options, thumbnail uploads, and other features, and is reportedly planning to monetize the feature.

A new live streaming feature, 'Live Studio,' will be added to 'Creator Studio,' a tool for creators and business accounts with X (formerly Twitter) accounts to post and manage their accounts on X. Live Studio is available to paid premium accounts or accounts verified by X.

While it was previously possible to live stream on X, the newly added 'Live Studio' is a live streaming function accessible from the Creator Studio and is available to paid premium accounts or accounts verified by X.

To start a live stream, simply select a title and media source. The setup is very easy.

According to Nikita Bier, head of product at X, they have set aside $1 million (approximately 161 million yen) to support creators who live stream from their creator studio. A monetization campaign is expected to take place, but details are unknown at the time of writing.
