Meta Glasses do not have a display, but they do feature a camera, open-ear speakers that don't block your ears, and multiple microphones to reduce wind noise.

The action button on the side can be used to activate Meta AI, and you can also assign any function to it. The battery life is over 8 hours, and with the foldable charging case, you can get up to an additional 40 hours of charge. The included charging dock looks like this.

The frames come in three styles: the rectangular 'Meta Adventurer' available in standard and large sizes, the bold and substantial 'Meta Fury,' and the slim, oval 'Meta Glasses by Kylie,' developed in collaboration with Kylie Jenner. They are also compatible with prescription lenses, and the nose pads are adjustable in three stages.

Meta AI utilizes 'Muse Spark,' developed by Meta Superintelligence Labs, to help users understand what they see, answer questions about sports results and nearby restaurants, and manage their calendars.

In the future, they plan to add a turn-by-turn walking guidance function for the device, which does not have a screen. They will also add 14 new languages to the live translation feature, including Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, and Korean, to support real-time conversations.
Competitor Snap has just announced its consumer smart glasses ' SPECS ' for $2,195 (approximately 353,000 yen), so Meta is aiming to expand the AI glasses market with a product that is significantly cheaper.
Meta Glasses went on sale June 23, 2026, at Meta.com, Best Buy, Amazon, LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, and other retailers. Prices start at $299 (approximately 48,100 yen). While the release is listed as being in 'multiple countries,' at the time of writing, the Japanese version of the official website displays 'not available for purchase.'
