Runway has released 'Aleph 2.0,' an AI video editing tool that automatically edits the rest of a video after you've edited a portion of it.

Runway, a company that develops AI video generation services, has released its video editing AI ' Aleph 2.0 ' and video editing tool ' Edit Studio '. Aleph 2.0 can edit 1080p 30-second videos, allowing users to precisely modify only the parts they want to edit. It can also apply edits to the entire video by simply inputting an edited image of a single frame.

Aleph 2.0 allows you to perform edits such as 'changing the object held in the hand,' 'changing the color of clothing,' and 'changing the entire video to an anime style' while maintaining the consistency of the video. The following video contains many examples of editing with Aleph 2.0, demonstrating that editing can be performed while maintaining the overall movement and composition of the video.

The video editing tool 'Edit Studio,' which uses Aleph 2.0, was also released at the same time. Edit Studio allows you to perform editing work while previewing the changes as images.

Aleph 2.0 allows you to apply edits to the entire video by using an image that has been edited on a single frame of the video. Furthermore, using Edit Studio, you can prepare edited frames using image editing AI. The image editing AI can use Google's Nano Banana Pro or OpenAI's GPT Image 2, and you can also upload images that you have prepared locally.

By combining the insertion of pre-edited frames with 'editing instructions in natural language,' highly precise editing is also possible.

Aleph 2.0 and Edit Studio are available to Runway's paid subscribers.
